Merlin and the goddess of the sea are similar to nordic Ägir and Rån

Merlin (sea fortress) and "goddess of sea" in king Arthur´s myth reminds Ägir (sea) and Rån (magician) in the Nordic mythology. Themselves King Arthur (the Honored Tyr) is associated with the sword god Tyr.
