Meaning of India

According to the Avesta, the first chapter of the Vandidad, India under the name of Hapt Hindo is described to highly radiation damage. In other words, India's name means the country with astonishment lightning.

इन्ध indha adj. lighting

But the meaning of the Sandhaya (rivers assembly) and the seven rivers assembly for the name of India is much more reasonable.
