The Croats (Hrovats) are the survivors of the Amazons (Sauromats, Massagetes, Roxulans)

Amazon, meaning all-armored, was another name and title for the all-armored matriarch Sauromat (Massaget, Roxolan):

The name of Croat (Sauromat) means all armed (Amazon) and also means all wearing ties:

The name Roxolan (Reuxo-Alan) is also synonymous with Croat, which means tie wearer:

Two inscriptions have been preserved in Croatia from Aelius Rasparaganus, the leader of Roxulans and Yazigs (Serbs) in the early 2nd century AD.

Their name Massaget means having a long hat (sharp helmet):
