Czechs are chauci (Chauken)

Tacitus describes the Chauken - possibly because of their name, which means "exalted ones" - as the noblest of the Germanic peoples and says that they preferred to base their greatness on righteousness.

It is believed that the greater part of the tribe, who lived east of the Weser (chauci majores), had, about 358, joined the tribe of the Saxons, in which it was finally completely absorbed, and the Saxons, who after 450 conquered Britain, are considered largely to have been chauken.

But no trace of them has been found in Britain. Then it is easy to imagine that they have moved east and mixed with Slovaks and formed the Czech nation. It sounds like Slovak (slave, glory) and chauk (exalted), also Sclavi are synonyms.

This suggestion shows that the Iranian mythical Iraj (noble) is instead the Skolo of the Skythians (Sclavi of Slavic tribes). The other old name of the Czechia ie. Bohmen may be a Skythian name meaning Bohu-man (those who have fine houses).

According to Herodotus' account of the Western Skythians, Lipoxsais (the king of the "side country=Ukraine") ruled a people called the Aukhates (those who have fine houses).

Detta tyder att den iranska mytiska Iraj (ädel) är i stället skyternas Skolo (Sclavi hos slaviska stammar).
