مطابقت برهما و سوانتویت

این خدایان چهار سر (منظور بینای چهار جهت) هندی و اسلاوی حتی نامهای مترادفی به معنی مظهر مقدّس دارند:

ब्राह्म adj. brAh[ma] holy

माया f. mAyA apparition

svanto: "holy, sacred"

vit: "apparition".

برهمای سه سر خود همان تثلیث برهما، ویشنو و شیوا به نظر می رسد. بنا بر این، این خدا (سوانتویت/برهما) دارای اصل سکایی به نظر می آید:

विष्णु m. vishNu all pervasive

शिव adj. shiva auspicious

Compatibility of Brahma and Svantvit

These Indian and Slavic gods with four heads (meaning the vision of four directions) even have synonymous names meaning the holy manifestation:

Brahm adj. brAh[ma] holy

Maya f. mAyA apparition

svanto: "holy, sacred"

vit: "apparition".

The three-headed Brahma itself appears to be the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Therefore, this god (Svantwit/Brahma) seems to have a Scythian origin:

Vishnu m. vishNu all pervasive

Shiva adj. auspicious
